I already recreated all of the scheduled jobs to no avail. I looked through all of the applications in dcomcnfg that I thought would be associated with ntbackup (VSS, RSM, etc.) assuming that what I was looking for was a location pointing to the old server name but found nothing. ntbackup/DCOM error after server rename
I'm running a simple file server that I renamed. Scheduled backups using ntbackup fail to run after the rename unless I run them manually from Task Scheduler. Once they are run manually, all seems to work fine until the next server reboot. Scheduled backups fail with an empty backup log -...- movingup
