    Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies. At the moment anything that involves extra cost is not an option. We use BackupExec and CommVault. I must be be able to fully recover a server from a full backup from these vendors. Cheers.

    Guys, I have a question i would like answering please. If i were to create a subclient that backed up a CV_Magnetic folder to tape, would i be able to restore that data from tape if the maglib was deleted or disks failed? Regards

    The problem now is that even though i selected 'Unconditional Overwrite' as a recovery option, the users now have the original stub and also the recovered mail in their mailboxes. Some even have the recovered message duplicated also. Shouldn't this option replace the stub with the recovered item?

    Thanks for the reply. I cant see an index column but im guessing one is created each time an archive operation is ran, which is daily. Maybe a weekly archive would be a better option. Youve put my mind at rest though, thanks

    Hi Birky, I can set the policy criteria to export tapes that are marked as full but its how do i mark them as full. The policy doesn't have an option to do that. I was hoping that i could set a backup job or storage policy to mark the media as full. Cheers
