Hi chicago25624,
I know this is not a direct fix for your problem, but if you are attempting to open 200+ projects in a master schedule within Microsoft Project, I must ask why? What are you trying to achieve?
And then I have to ask....have you looked into Project Server?
Find out about...
Actually, there is a setting within Microsoft Project where you can tell it to calculate Earned Value based upon Physical % Complete. I am looking in Project 2010 and it is under >File, >Options, >Advanced. I'm not sure this impacts the data that gets pulled into that Earned Value Over Time...
I have developed workflows in the past in Visual Studio 2010 as well as SharePoint. I think of a workflow as an assembly line. If I put something on the assembly line, then it goes to the next person to do something. That could be add or modify something or simply approve or deny the item to...
How about the latest version of PMBOK with the new Stakholder Management Knowledge Area:

hmmmm....I'll take a shot! Let me paraphrase the question:
"The objective is to determine the preformance of the company carrying out these projects" (In essense - how well are they estimating?).
I would simply ask for the baseline plan and then track the performance. I'm not sure I would...
That's a good idea! I might also suggest this approach: Create 3 trasks:
% Complete Work Duration Resource Name
1. Create initial deliverable 100% 2 1 John Smith
2. Acquire immages from client 0% 0 3? Client
3...

Try this:
On the Resource Sheet, change the Type to Material for the heating cabinet, then enter in how many units of each on the Gantt Chart. This will now show up as a Quantity as opposed to a Percentage.
Hope this helps!

I would recommend first checking to make sure the two names are spelled EXACTLY the same (including trailing spaces). Maybe even copy the name from one file and paste it over the name in the resource sheet in second file.

I agree with all of this except I would change the resource graph to leverage % Work Allocated and Show the Availability line:
View > Resource sheet
Window > split
Click on the bottom part of the display
View > Resource graph
*Right click on the time phased portion of the Resource Graph and...
If the task names are in fact exactly the same, it could be as easy as this:
1. Insert a Text Field
2. Code all tasks under the Delivery A phase as "Delivery A", all tasks under Delivery B phase as "Delivery B", etc. (inputting into the Text field).
3. Group by Name

Double check to make sure the two resource names are spelled EXCACTLY the same (including trailing space).

Within the Task Usage View you will be able to adjust the Start date for the second resource as well as alter the allocation of work for the two resources.
Hope this helps!
