Hi Jim532,
In order for the USB drive to do autorun it must be marked
as a removeable media device and it must contain an
autorun.inf file and of course the startup application too.
Check out this page for an excellent explanation on how to get it to work...
You most likely need to enable your IDE controller
in your BIOS. Also double check your IDE cable connector
on both ends and make sure there are no bent pins. If
there are replace the cable.
