UMS vs. IMS
We currently use IMS on 4.2 and are thinking of switching to UMS, because IMS causes delays in starting Outlook with even moderate sized mailboxes (and terrible if you have lots of inbox subfolders). The only problem I can see (besides cost, don't get me started about no credit for IMS...- dinsd

4.2 UMS vs. IMS
After reading the docs re: 4.2, I'm debating switching from IMS to UMS. I have some questions for anyone who's used both. 1. How is the performance compared to IMS? IMS and iPhone problem - any ideas?
Have you tried using IMS Admin -Mailbox properties for that user - override - send wave - send attached. You don't get direct integration with vm server, so messages can't be deleted or forwarded, but at least the user would be able to listen to the message.- dinsd
