    Some clients will not install

    :-) Hi Have a look at one of the problem clients and check out the reserved registry size (control panel\system\performance\change) I have had a couple where the agents would not install due to the size of the registry hitting the limit set. hope it helps

    :-) Hi Try adding a new SQL user with sufficient authority and use this account (safer than using sa). Then you can be sure there is no password conflict (usually the case when SMS can't validate the user) hope it helps

    :-) Hi I do know that NT sp5 in not compatable with SMS2.0 and can produce some odd results. There is a hot fix from MS but I would install sp6 as a starting point.
