This won't work for me. Shows nothing upon delete, but the email is still in outbox. Have to do what I related to get rid of it. If you try to open it to change the account, it won't open, and shows that it has been started sending, when in fact there is no sending going on.
Thanks though, just...
see my post which was going to be a reply to a 2005 thread that was closed. Would have put it in FAQ otherwise.

getting my outbox locked while sending a large email, over and over again. Unable to delete it as it replies with Unable to open because outlook has already started sending this email.
Easiest (if you can consider it easy) is to delete the mailbox you are sending...
I changed the name of the root folder to winntq11, then re-booted the computer. Ran for a while and had no problems; then I deleted the folder and its contents. No problem so far.
Thanks one and all, working a lot so don't get a chance to work on this much.

I have a desktop running XP Pro, and I'm running low on space and have been unable to locate the 42 gigs that is being hogged. I see a folder winntq with a lot of folders under it. What is this folder and is it left over from when I had 2000 on it?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the help. Got disgusted with the support from the DSL supplier and replaced everything from the phone line up to the laptop RJ45 with a filter and 2WIRE modem. Used the supplied cable that I had tested with a cable tester. The whole system was up in 10 minutes including wireless...
Laptop with Vista Home on it. Have a hardwired RJ45 and have a wireless connection. Hardwired seems to get lost after a bit. Doesn't seem to keep communicating. Wireless is much, much faster and doesn't seem to slow at all. Disabled wireless, still same results on wired broadband connection...
Yes. I have 12 workstations which are connected, but no clients. Don't understand whether I need to purchase client licenses.

SBC sites x.x.x.x which is a translate of a.a.a.a.
The router uses a.a.a.a.
Router DHCP's b.b.b.n (where n is 100-150)
PC attached to router is b.b.b.s (static)
route table opens 5631 and 5632 ports to b.b.b.s
problem is pcAnywhere gets comm error.
Solved by putting switch before router and...
I have an ip(A) address that SBC translates to another ip(B) address(note this is not the public ip(C) I get with www.ipaddress.com). No problem when the pc is directly attached. Now a Linksys wireless router was installed with the second IP(B) address as it's address. The pc that was connected...

Those last concerns are part and parcel of the fun you can have when you put your mind to being cute with a program. One of the first programs I did was gen'ing integers. Missed all the primes.
Same with these. Probably miss all the ones using PH in place of F, or something equally innocuous...
Excellent answer, with a lot of good concerns. As you know with working with people it is a fine line between pleasing the customer while still doing what is right. Just thought I'd get some input from other pros in the area. I think that the "not letting the email thru" is a good idea. Will...
Thank you for your quick response.
User is not sophisticated. Client believes they know who it is, just want proof.
Will contact authorities, as you suggest, but usually consider it a prank and won't do anything about it.

I'm working on an Access 2000 database, running on a Win2K system. Hurricane Rita hit me and no electricity now. Used my old generator for power to use Access 2000 to convert db back to Access 97 as I have this on an old laptop running Win98. I took this out of town to friends and everything is...
If you have the boards identified you can go to www.driversguide.com and (free registration) search for the drivers and download them. Be careful on any download as some have viruses.
