After configure AAA I did not set any username!
Thank for you idea, but it does not work. Same thing in console. I still have username/password challenge. -

Hi. I used to work with that kind of switches and I am sure I can help you. First do you have a console cable? if yes only connect to the switch and hit Ctrl W twice. You will be in dshell mode and just type: d & ui_admin_passwd on the rigth side you will see 3 passw. First admin then diag... -

Hi. We have a building with 18 3550. My security manager insist in change telnet for SSH but in one of the switches I forgot to add a line with the username xxx password yyy and I activate aaa authent login def local. So now I tryed to access the switch but I got a username/password challenge... -

Does everybody has seen a RIP frame of 25 routes in the Sniffer?
I have been having troubles with the RIP updates between two router. One of them have a routing table of 150 routes. When I use the Sniffer to see the traffic, I filter the RIP frames and in the detail view I pretend to see the 25 records (rip can send up to 25 records by frame)but I only see 18...- marcosR
