This may be a stupid question, but do you have the print drivers for the printer loaded on your terminal server? Port-redirection is enabled by default, but if the server does not have the print drivers loaded, port-redirection (or mapping as described above) is pointless.

They have mobile users that need to have persistent RDP sessions to the Terminal Server. At no time (well, except during initial boot) should these users be prompted for a log on to the server.

I am encountering a simliar issue. I have locked down access to all applications accept winword.exe, excel.exe and iexplore.exe.
