If you remove the license from a running system, then i will remain active for a longer period, no problem.
It will eventually stop working after giving license violation warnings. But using this for a few days running on 2 servers would not be a problem.
I think you should first go to your provider and check if they will let you pass that information. Normally you will not be allowed to send CLI on outgoing that is not part of your incoming did-range.
Of course you can check in a wireshark trace on your MBG if the CLI info is in the sip headers...
Yes all is working fine. I could copy icons, and that all worked.
Today, after consultant Mitel we found the problem. The IVR directory
MUST be shared across the network.
Oke, I will look at that, now that you say this, looks familiar. At first I thought ALL callreroute is shared: YES/NO, but if I can use this with exception, that could work. Thanks.
call reroute is already being shared on the cluster, I really dont want to change this.
I have been thinking about this for some time now, and I think I wil have to use some sort of ARS digits dialled going to a route list, where the first route goes to the 1st vmcd and the second route to the...
Anyone with thoughts about nametag huntgroups and resiliency.
I have a customer with 2 MBGs ans sip-trunks, going to 2MCDs as a resilient pair.
Currently all users are on 1 controllers, and failover to the 2nd. This all works.
But I also want to have several numbers with a nametag-huntgroup, to...
Using a bigger subnet like KWBmitel suggests is the way to go, multiple vlans and scope like danramirez says also works, but looks to me like a lot more work.
And when security is an issue, proper subnetting or multiple vlans doesnt make any difference.
I am running an IVR with the latest version 6.0.2.3 and my toolbox is completly grayed out.
So when in a subroutine I cannot add new icons to the callflow.
Anyone had this, and know a solution?
Yes can be done. We are now running the UCCv2 on 1 virtual server. So 1 MSL with vMCD/vMBG/vUCA/VNupoint/Collab..... all-on-one
Super-package for small and medium businesses
Thanks for the reply, I made a mistake of connecting with sftp to the MSL of the ISS. This is a different connection from the ftp session to the mcd on this ISS server. When connecting to the MCD, there is a /vmail directory, which in my case had the necessary wireshark trace.
I am trying to get the file from a Mitel ISS server after giving a maintenance command SIP TCPDUMP ON / OFF.
SFTP connection is not the problem, the location of the created file is....[sad]
Anyone who has done this before?
Is it possible to replace a faulty 80Gb HD with a newer 160Gb HD?
In the raid controller operations manual it says that it is possible, only when the newer harddrive is greater or equal to the current one.
But, in the THB it says that I have to replace both harddrives when using 160Gb...
Thanks, but that is not what I meant, I know about these codes.
The thing is, that when you already heard the personal message:
I am sorry, but I cannot answer your call, please leave a message after the tone.....
I can then leave a message after the tone, but if I do NOT hangup after...
Hello,
I am running a Mitel MCD4.2 and have a questions about emb. voicemail. When someone leaves a message in a mailbox and doesnt hangup after leaving a message, they hear an additional message, something like: "recording has stopped, press U to mark your message as Urgent, etc..."
I know...
I finally had the time to test these, and thanks, I solved it.
After starting the sip traces, I saw that an extra digits was send by the SIP-trunk provider. I inserted this digit, and the numbers came ringing on my phones,
THANKS.
