I went to change the name on one of the voicemail boxes, but when I did L NAM, it then prompted me with LST:
I entered the mailbox number,7444, and it said
no matching entries for pattern: 7444*
I then tried
M NAM 7444
and got prompted with
MOD:
I entered the mailbox number and it gave me
NO...
when I do the M USER it asks for mailbox number, I enter it, then it asks for MOD:
what would I enter here to change the name?
sorry for my ignorance, but the only thing I was ever shown on the voicemail system was how to reset a VM password to default.
oh yeah, the reason I want to change or add names is that when our system is on night call and someone calls in and tries to search the directory it appears a lot of names are missing.
I was told the octel system was what was being searched during this, so that is where I need to check the names.
we have an octel 200 vmx, and I want to be able to view\add\edit names for the voicemailboxes.
the only thing I know how to do on this box is reset a voicemail password, so if anyone can give me some tips on this I would appreciate it.
we have a meridian 11c.
when our attendant leaves at 5 pm she puts her m2250 box console on night call.
then when people call in after hours they should be able to search our phone directory by name.
what we are running into is that many names that should be there are not there.
I thought if...
on our 500 type extensions if you look up RNPG it has a 1 or 2 etc for the group.
but an extension with type 2008 has
RNPG 9C 0039
can someone explain how to read this?
how does this differ from RNPG for a 500 type?
yeah, I have done the same search and found a couple of references to Cluster resource Services, but I guess I was looking for something a little more clear.
usually I can do a search for something like this on the 400 and pull a little more info.
our backup on our I-series 810 didnt complete do to a program that appeared to be in a loop, if you checked job status you saw that QYUSCMCRMD was continuing to increase in CPU percentage.
what is QYUSCMCRMD? I havent been able to find many references to it.
we had to stop the backup process...
can someone provide me with info or link to show me how to add a new extension to our switch?
our vendor installed an additional card in our system last year, so we finally have available TNs, but all I have ever worked with is existing TNs and such, so I'm not sure where to start.
so if you had SFD, would someone call extension 1, then when no one picks up it rolls over to extension 2, and then keeps ringing at extension 2 until someone answers or the person hangs up?
sorry that was a typo, 2288 has HUNT set to 2283.
so if 2283 was set to hunt 2284, would a call to 2288 that rolled to 2283 but wasnt picked up at 2283 then roll over to 2284 and so on?
in one of our departments we have setup extension 1 to roll over to extension 2, extension 2 to roll over to extension 3, extension 3 to roll over to extension 4, then extension 4 to roll over to extension 1.
this is done using HUNT.
my question is, if someone calls extension 1 and gets no...
I see this from time to time, but not every day.
running veritas backup 11d on 2003 server, remote server is also running 2003 server.
backup says failed.
Look at the log and it shows folders on remote server not being backup up, always a range of folders, like ones that start with S thru T...
