The cables could easily been from around January 2005 to July 2005. I will check the labels next time I pay them a visit.

The cascade cables seems okay.
The client is currently running without the middle switch.
I have a service window this saturday where i can look into the problem. Might be a defect swicth.
I have a stack that within 10 days have reduced itself to one unit instead of five.
The configuration is like this :

The stack is running 5.1.0.014 and firmware 5.0.0.4.
The stack was upgraded in the middle of january and the first crash occured...

Mylotto maybe you could elaborate. I was just about to upgrade a system running Edge 5530 SMLT to sw5.1. But maybe not ?
