Thanks for the reply. THe MSX server is relaying internal mail only, ie only if submitted internally. I am the NT admin as well, and have MSX cofigured not to relay SPAM or external submissions! The relay is spelt correctly ( including FQDM ) and i can ping it no problem. Error message...- cashs

Hello, Have ( attempted ) to configure sendmail to use my ms exchange server as a ail relayer. When i queue mail, mail status shows "Deferred: nameserver: server.domain.com : hostname lookup failure" ( actual names supressed of course !). This machine does not run dns and can ping...- cashs
