We have a Active-Active cluster and are trying to set up file shares. Problem is when we change the file permissions on the drive we cannot bring the share online in the Cluster Administrator. If we set the permissions at the file level back to "Allow inheritable permissions to ..."...
I tried the ([^/<]*). but it didn't work either. It just returned a space(no parse error though).
Any other ideas or someplace I should post this for further help?

I am trying to pull some data from a external webpage using a regular expression.
The url is: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/hi/english/static/in_depth/other_sports/2002/tour_de_france/statistics/overall.stm
and I am trying to pull the top 5 riders Names from the table.
The pattern I am...
I am looking for a way to get the last modified date of a remote site and/or file.
I have a kludge way of doing it in PHP, but I am looking for something a little more elegant...
Thank you in advance.
Void the warranty? Maybe the software warranty, but not the hardware. Dell cannot require you to run any OS in order to maintain the hardware warranty.
I would reformat and install W2K Server and not worry about it.
Just my $.02
That won't work. I have a home domain(call it "home" for example) and a work webmail I am connecting to over the internet(call it "WORK"). When I used to connect on W2K I would get three text boxes as stated above now I only get two. I need to be able to specify the domain...
Hopefully someone can answer this one for me.
I just installed WinXP Pro(which seems to be working great) and tried to access my work email. I am used to seeing a popup box of "Username", "Password", "Domain"(this is Exchange Webmail). Now all I see is...

AS/400 is incremental Mon - Thu, SAVLIB Fri - tapes are held off site for two weeks. SavSys monthly(third Saturday) and are held off site for one month.
Win2k Servers - Roughly 350 gig. Full save Mon - Fri on LTO drives. Held off site for 2 weeks...
With a little work you can put a image on the server and either push or pull it to the clients.
Ghost handles this MUCH more cleanly than Drive Image IMO.
Something to watch for Ghost Home edition does not allow you to authenticate to a domain(and my not provide any network ability at all)...
If you have WINS set up it will tell you what computers are Active and Inactive. If each user has their own computer that would essentially give you what you need.

Drive Image works fine for a W2k image. Of slight concern is that it is more "quarky", based on my experience, than Ghost.
Personally, I would upgrade to at least 128MB of RAM. W2k will run on 64, but I seem to see great speed increases by upping the RAM(I usually up to 256 though)...
Partition Magic by Powerquest should be able to resize that partition for you. Never used it on a server, but I cannot see any any reason it won't work.

If I am reading this right you also need to delete sub directories under the root directory. In which case RMDIR will not work. If you need to delete all sub directories you will need to write a vbscript/javascript to do it. This can still be run command line. If you need additional help...

If you router/firewall at work is capable of NAT(network address translation) or port forwarding you will be able to open the ports necessary to access your work computer. If you chose to do NAT then you would need to purchase another IP from Roadrunner. Lets see if I can summarize the...
