reghakr....I didn't do the dangerous trick thing.....I thought that may a last resort manuver. I am fairly confident with my registry skills so I will attempt your suggestion. Thanks everyone for all the help.

nobrain.......I followed your instructions but it when highlighted and I clicked on add/remove, it gave me two choices...either repair ie6 or add a component....it would not let me restore to the previous configuration. Any other suggestions? Thanks filly 45

Ever since I installed internet explorer 6, the downloads take forever. They are very very slow and sometimes not at all and I have to disconnect and reconnect to the internet. I downloaded the patch but it is still not working very well. Is there a way to uninstall 6? thanks!!
