How can I send out a notification to the server admins when there are files that are skipped/missed on thier servers? I guess that is the ultimate goal.

I need to figure out how to turn on notification on my Networker 7.3.2 so that I get notified when it skips/misses files as a result of them being open.
It is networker 7.3.2 and on Win2003
Currently our Networker system skips or fails on open files when it is doing a backup. I have been tasked to figure out how to get it to backup the open files even if it is a fuzzy backup. What are some options?
