I though that text variables couldn't change between documents in a book, but then I found that under Synchronize Options I can choose not to synchronise text variables, so they will be different from document to document. I think this will serve my purposes.- mattgilbertnet

I'm working on a book that has two different languages, meaning I need two different section markers per section (one for each language). Is this possible, or do I need a different master page for each section, so I can use static text? Alternately, perhaps I could use text variables, if they...- mattgilbertnet
