    Thanks for your quick response According to the manual I have the choice of XON/XOFF or DTR/DSR. It appears perhaps I can use ethernet cabling to get the range I need. Would this work?

    I have 2 serial POS printers that I need to install in a kitchen. The distance from the PC to the printer is > 50ft. What is the best way of getting them connected. The PC has 2 DB9 serial ports and the printers have DB25 ports. Thanks in advance
