    Broken Prong on Monitor

I attempted to bend back the prong and it broke off. It appears as if at least one row of the prongs (which the broken one is a part of) has a small indentation on the side of each prong. I don't know if the indentations are the result of abuse, a design flaw, or intentional. It's my parents'...

    Broken Prong on Monitor

I have a monitor that is currently hooked up to a Mac. I recently attempted to connect it to a PC. The monitor behaved as if a signal was being sent, but nothing appeared on the screen. I noticed that a prong was bent over on the connector for the monitor. I'm curious if this is a normal...

No signal being sent to monitor, and no indication from motherboard.

I did try it out of the case so it looks like the psu is the only thing left that makes any sense. The psu was made by antec, and as far as I know thats a pretty good company. Even if I didn't need a new computer it doesn't hurt to have one. Thanks for your help guys. If the new psu doesn't...

No signal being sent to monitor, and no indication from motherboard.

The motherboard doesn't make any noise, and the keyboard lights do work. I've ordered a new power supply because thats the only thing that makes sense to me right now.

No signal being sent to monitor, and no indication from motherboard.

I tried turning on my computer and nothing showed up on the screen. Everything appears to turn on properly but no signal is sent to the monitor. First I tried a second monitor, and that didn't work. Next I tried a different video card, and that didn't work. At that point I couldn't think of...

Computer will not start windows2k, boot from cd or floppy

There is nothing like that, but at one point it says: Primary Master: No Drive Primary Slave: No Drive Secondary Master: No Drive Secondary Slave: No Drive or at least something to that extent it only flashes on the screen for less than a second.

Computer will not start windows2k, boot from cd or floppy

When I attempt to start Windows 2000 it gives me this error: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM. Selet 'r' at the first screen to...
