Export Data From SQL to a Delimited Text File

You could also get the query from the Crystal report itself (in the database menu item). The problem you may face is that any of the formulas or calculations done in Crystal aren't going to show in either the SQL profiler or the Crystal reports query.

Reporting Services 2000 Schedule Postback issue

I'm using reporting services 2000 and on the schedule page, the "Schedule", "OK", and "Cancel" button all fail to produce any results. I've seen the issue posted on a couple other forums, but none accompanied a solution. Any ideas?

    SubReport Issue

Don't know if this helps or not, but I had the same sort of problem with a textbox control. What I ended up doing to fix it was to remove the textbox to another area and then put it back. It seemed like SSRS was having trouble determining which control was the main one and which was the sub.

Export Text only if Query Returns Data

Thanks Alex. I ended up just writing an ActiveX script that deleted the file that was produced if the file size was 0. So far, it seems to be what I needed.

Export Text only if Query Returns Data

Is there a way in DTS to create a text file from a query only if the query returns data? I think I could do it with an activex script, but I really don't want to hardcode my database user and password info.
