    Tool for end users to create AdHoc reports

    I am looking for a tool(control) that would let my end-users create and run their own AdHoc reports. This tool/control must be easy to use. This would free up 'report requests' and let then report/query themselves.

    I have the same issue, but we will not have access to the 60-70 laptops in the field. we need to push everything to them(app and db) We are looking at flatfile, mdb file or xml as the db. First question, does the laptop need Access to connect to the mdb? Will xml be the best? thanks, stedd0

    Crystal accessing foxpro DBC via odbc very slow

    We are running Crystal Reports of our CRM package that has a foxPro db engine. We have an ODBC to the dbc file. A report off a 10,000+ record db takes a good 1.5 to 2 minutes??!?!? Is this right? Is there another way? Thanks, Fred

    I am looking at developing asp pages that would access a SQL 2000 database/tables. Can I just purchase a Standard Edition single user license? Or what do I need?
