I just inherited admin role of a Univerge SV8100 phone system. We hired a new employee that needs their extension added to a ring group that is called when a caller dials one on the Auto Attendant. I can not figure out how to add this new extension. I have traced back through the InMail settings...
I think I may have found some of the problem. I found that we have no agents even assigned to 1st skill.
So does that mean that any step that references skill 1st never actually happens which is why it never actually gets to Step 15 or 16 without the caller pressing 1 in step 10?
Nice catch on the Step 05. I have made that adjustment. I inherited this system and am trying to figure it out/clean it up.
I'm running traces and it is working correctly so far.
One thing I am still cloudy on, in steps 03 and 04, when it goes to step 16, does it also check 17 at that point or...
I'm trying to understand this vector below. I'm getting reports that it puts people on hold forever and never plays the option in Step 09 to press 1 (step 10).
From my understanding when the Vector is first called, it looks for Skill 1st and if no one is logged in will then look to skill 2nd...
Is there a command to see all references to a VDN? I have a VDN that is being called non-stop from some device in another location and can't seem to find the device or how it is getting to that VDN. When I put a non-existent vector in the VDN is stops it. Any ideas? Thanks!
Ok, that is what I was looking for, so Slot 1 = B, Slot 2 = C, and so on? I'm googling around trying to find a chart that displays the layout and what corresponds to what.
It looks like the one port is for the ELAN and not the CLAN so I think we will need to go with one like we already have. Do you know how to link a port on the back side (labeled by letters) to the front side slots?
Would a cable like RLC Multi-I/O Cable-Enhanced (NTDR80xx) from page 13 of the link you posted earlier work for this?
We currently have RLC Multi-I/O Cable-Basic (NTDR79xx) installed.
Thanks for all your help on this!
We set the config via the serial port. It has a cable that has two ends, both serial but one has an Ethernet adapter on it. Do we need a another one of these cables for the second card or anything? We can't stat it right now since we can't get to it.
Yes, we have set unique IPs for both cards. One ends in .100 and other .101
We have the Remote Gateway Config Mgr installed. Whichever card is in the active slot, we can connect to and configure. But when we plug both in, we can only access whichever card is in the "live" slot.
I was on the right path, I had that document already. I am at this point:
"For the host PBX to communicate properly with RLCs, you must configure each
RLC slot as an Extended Digital Line Card (XDLC) slot. Refer to the
documentation for your PBX to complete this procedure."
We have the second...
We plan to have two 9150's and also a couple 9115's. It isn't letting me view that link above, even when logged into Avaya. Our first card only has 9115 devices on it.
I have an existing RLC ( Extended Digital Line Card (XDLC) slot) card and need to add a second one. Is this supported and if so, does anyone know the Load number to complete this or the steps to add/configure an additional card? Thanks in advance!
I know there is a way to swap extensions (disconnect & reconnect) from the phone itself. I would dial 186-XXXX-YYYY where XXXX = a 4 digit password and YYYY = the station to disconnect. Then to reconnect at a different station I would dial 187-XXXX-YYYY.
I am drawing a complete blank how to set...
I am new to Cognos and the previous admin didn't help much prior to leaving. I'm trying to clean up all the reports. Is there a way to export a list of all the reports, when they run, if they are emailed, subject, recipients, etc? Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance!
