Is there a way to disable alerts for the person
that makes the change ?
I mean, if I am an admin for a site and also have set up
alerts on it then I dont want to get notified of every
change done by ME...
??

yes the server is pointing to the same content database.
I used the original config database, causing this.
I got around it creating a new config db on the new server.

I have alerts set on my sharepoint site and it works fine.
Below you see an email as the result of change to a document
testing.doc that is connected to an alert.
I would like to make the email also show the content of the
document or at least the changes..

I have two top level sites:
1: http://server/mySite with many subsites
2: http://server/sites with many subsites
If I map a network drive to site 1 and open the drive
I can see all subsites, lists, document libraries and so on
as if it was a file system..

From Team Explorer you can right click on a project and
chose "Show Project Portal..." to go to the projects sharepoint site.
Currently this url is pointing to:
http://myServer/sites/myProject/default.aspx
I want to change it to:
http://myServer/myProject/default.aspx
