Have Dell desktop, 2 years old. Sonic burning software. Drive does not recognize blank cd and requests either put blank cd in or cd is full. Tried different brands and different speeds. It will copy cds but does not burn.

Wish to thank paparazi & wahnula for their help. Added add'l 512RAM module without problem. Looking around for +60GB HD without OS and will put it in and then install OS - same as previous. Shuttle is running like a top right now.
