    911 solution

@Reusser That is a great idea and probably the solution I am looking for. Adding 9 to AC2 wouldn't be hard and building the SPN should work. @acewarlock how do you create a new user or check to see if a second user already exists? If one does exist we don't use it but the tech before...

    911 solution

I am back to the original setup now and I have recreated both SPNs. I implemented ghrout's changes when I couldn't dial 911 hoping that would help my fat fingered teachers, but they still screw up to much for my liking. If I switch back to 8 do I have to recreate the SPNs for 11 and 911? Both...

    911 solution

I do have the Cust 2 option when I did the PKG print from ld 22. Is it really hard to create a new customer and is there a way to check and see if one has already been created? Thanks, JL

    911 solution

I changed to 8 by going into LD 86 and changing the AC1 to 8 instead of 9. I had to change it back due to the fact I couldn't dial "911". I changed the SPN 911 after I made the change to my access code using the fix that ghtrout provided. Below is all the output from the two SPNs responsible...

    911 solution

911 is already a SPN but when 9 is dialed I get the fast busy signal. Here is how I built the SPN just to make sure I did it right: LD 90 REQ NEW CUST 0 FEAT NET TRAN AC1 SPN SPN 911 FLEN 3 RLI 0 SDRR DENY DENY 0 DENY 1 DENY 2 DENY 3 DENY 4 DENY 5 DENY 6 DENY 7 DENY 8 DENY 9 DENY SDRR ITIE...

    911 solution

http://www.ghtrout.com/ghtrout/files/911_misdials.html I have implemented the above solution to help reduce the frequency of misdialed 911 calls, but we still have way to many of them. I want to move back to my original solution of changing the access to 8 instead of 9. The only problem is...

Change outside line from 9 to 8?

ace -- I am by no means meant anything bad by most. I am just glad you can understand my limited amount of information that I have provided. I'm sorry if my incoherent ramblings have not provided enough information about my problem. Thanks, JL

Change outside line from 9 to 8?

Sorry I didn't explain my problem to well. We use 9150s and RLCs to connect to our Option 11c PBX. The problem is that the 9150s immediately bypass our PBX and dial out the backup PSTN line for that box when 911 is dialed and there is no way to turn off the feature as far as I have been able...

Change outside line from 9 to 8?

If I am reading the instructions correctly her is what I got... It will help me setup 8911 and 811 as long as they go out my current RLI for 911. Is there a way to setup 911 instead of 811 so I can dial that instead or am I just missing something? I don't want and SPN 11 because that allows...

Change outside line from 9 to 8?

Yeah that is why we changed. Is there a way to still make 911 work in case people panic. We have it posted all the phones call 811 or 8911, but we are worried that someone won't figure that out in an emergency. Thanks, JL

Change outside line from 9 to 8?

Thanks guys I got the ACOD changed and AC1 changed to 8. Jamie can you elaborate on the SPN 11 fix. I am still new to this and never had to change anything on this scale before. Thanks, JL

Change outside line from 9 to 8?

We had a new PRI installed this week after I made the change from AC1 9 to AC1 8. Unfortunately the new ACOD for the PRI is 8990 which obviously conflicts with my new access code. I don't know enough about this, but can my telco change the ACOD to something else to so as I can continue using 8...
