You are correct Kevin906.
When I first posted this thread. I was trying to find a solution to Pass Caller ID from a Telco DID call that initiates from the 9006.6 Hicom and then sent via a Route to the Avaya G450 CM across a Regular ISDN PRI (NI2 Protocol). I neved did find a solution for this...
Solution:
On Hipath 4000 Create your Tie Line as a QSIG type Tie. Same way you would configure it when connecting to a Cisco Call Manager.
On the Avaya Side, Create your Tie Line as a regular ISDN/PRI tie Line. (NI2 Protocol).
If you create your ties this way, then the Avaya Phones will see...

Thank You, It does make sense.
We will make the modification you suggested earlier and try a few other parameters as well. Thanks again for the time and advise.
When I do get it working, I will post my modifications.
Regards,
Thank you for the information. I will give it a try. I saw in an earlier thread of yours back on the 6th of December you had an issue where you made a modification in the "Avaya system-parameters coverage-forwarding" where you changed "QSIG VALU Coverage Overrides QSIG Diversion with...
Configuration: Avaya CM Rel 6.0 with QSIG T1/PRI Ties to an Siemens Hipath 4000
Issue: DID calls come in to Siemens and route over to Avaya to a station configured with 3 line appearances. First call shows up showing correct information on display, however if a second call comes into this...
We have a Hicom 300E 9006.6 with a PRI (NI2) T1 Tie to an Avaya CM.
Issue: Can not seem to get the Caller ID (4 - digit extension number) from a 9006.6 user to pass over the PRI Tie and show on the Avaya called parties phone.
I know that this span will pass Caller ID to the Avaya, as when...
Thank You again for your input. This system does support the 16 channel SLMR and the 16 channel SLMR2 cards. I configured each of these and designed RP400's on them and was able to make calls through them.
The SLMR3 (24 channel Card) never gets a full load weather its Firmware or Loadware...
One additional try: I just configured an SLMR2 Q2472-x into the same slot. It loaded. I just verified that this system is running 9006.4 / SMR3 / PP"R". Could be that this release will not support the SLMR3, however I does support the 24 channel SLMO Q2158-X's as I have two of these running...
Thanks for the reply.
I added a SLMR Board Type "Q2450-X" which is one of the older 16 channel boards and It came up and loaded. I then created couple of RP400's and made some calls between the two. Deleted everything including the Q2450-X and removed from the PBX. Performed my updat's...
Added a SLMR3 board in 9006.5 30EX using the add-bcsu in RMX. The Board always shows up in BSSU:tbl as "DEFECT". This system has never been configured with this type of board in it before. It has always used SLMO's for the optisets. Need a SLMR to emulate a RP400 for a DuVoice Voicemail...
