Unfortunately I don't seem to find any setting on the BCM50 where I would be able to change it. Also call reporting seems to be missing the leading zeroes, any ideas anyone ?
Thanks
The BCM50 is located in Belgium,
Strangely enough when I test this with a Forum 500 PBX then I see the zeroes appear. So I would think the BCM50 is filtering it ... but if so, where ?
Hello,
When I get an Incoming call the CLID doesn't show the leading zero's.
It will show 23456789 when the full number would be 023456789 local or 0023456789 international.
It is very difficult to immediately detect local from international calls on the spot because of this.
Probably this...
I have been trying and trying and trying ... without any success (obviously). I am going crazy over this one :-(
My settings (now) are hereafter. Can someone spot the problem. UIP log excerpt is at the end.
When I dial a number I get No answer (I used to get Network not available but now it...
Found the solution:
Actually the above was not the origin of the problem. If the clock source is not set correctly (for a Belgian BRI) then all call go to the Prime station.
Unless you change this to the correct setting all the DID configurations have no effect. So for Belgium you have to...
The target line (136) has been assigned to a DN (111) which has with control set (100) and Prime set (110)
Have set it to ring and appear
Priv Received (111) works fine internally
Pub Received (31) goes to control set
Pub number length is set to 2
Public Network code = 0328000
Have tried with...
I have changed the destination code to 9 (which is not usual in Belgium) and can now set 0031 as Pub Received.
The digit before 0 is .... 0 (280 00 30, 280 00 31, ...) Pub Received length is 4 and even though I have set the Pub received to 003x it still goes to the Alarm set (100).
Any thoughts ?
I have looked everywhere and found no attendant with '0' or maybe I am looking in the wrong places.
Being on a Belgian Dutch BCM we use the 0 as outside line, could this be the problem ?
Thanks
Mike
Our external phone numbers end in 031, 032, ..., 039. Our internal DNS are 100,101,102 etc (length 3)
I am now having a problem with DID which is not working (everything is routed to the attendant (100).
I would think that the Pub Received would need 031 but it will not accept the 0. If I...
I did and that that did the trick.
Now apparently my SIP Provider is not reacting. Have to find a way to check if the connection to their sip server is working, but thanks for all the help so far
Don't worry it already helped a lot.
I now have a second issue: can't et an outside line
The configuration is currently like this:
Lines
Active Physical Lines
4 BRI Pool A
Active Voip Lines
3 Voip PoolBloc B
Routing
Routes
000 A
002 BlocB
Destination codes
0 Route 000
8 Route 002
When I...
OK, at least I don't need to look any further for soemthing taht isn't there. I'm trying to connect to a SIP provider but without any luck so far. A short manual (not the 600 page network manual) would be nice.
Has anyone already configured SIP on a BCM50 r3. Whatever I try it doesn't seem to work. On the BEM Sip subpage it says "gateway is not runnning" and I have no idea where to set it to run.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Mike
