    Thanks for everyone's responses so far, but I still need a clear and definitive answer for #2. Just as Mitelpassion pointed out, the signaling ports are TCP, NOT UDP like the Mitel guy suggested. In other words, the ports for call signaling are not 9000 and 9002.

    I actually got a hold of my Mitel support guy and he tole me: 1) RTP traffic port range is 50000-50127. 2) Call signaling ports are 9000 and 90002. I didn't catch it earlier, but the Cisco guy said the call signaling ports were TCP, but the Mitel guy gave me UDP answers?!?!
