    Thanks for the input guys!! I actually figured this out -- I 'thought' we initialized the mailboxes when we logged in and recorded the name -- Turns out you have to go into the mailbox admin and change the password to something that does not begin with 0 -- as soon as we did that, it worked fine..

    I've got 4.0 -- When I login at the 'login as:' prompt, i type in nnadmin -- Then it waits afew seconds and I get the Putty error: 'Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available' before I can even put in the password.

    I have a BCM200 with a 1140 set -- The set works fine, but when I attach the KIM, it lights up but only displays the firmware (i00v142 v115), the phone functions as it should -- They have f/w 0625c1h -- This is the only 1100 series IP set on the network, the 2000 series set and KIM work fine
