I am editing a Halo movie, and we often play split screen. I don't want to show both players playing at the same time and when I go on the internet to watch Halo videos they only have one of those screens showing. Does anyone know how to cut out one and leave the other? Thank you.

When I play my video on the moniter, it's choppy when it goes from scene to scene. Is this just natural or do I have to do something special to fix that? Also sometimes the song is jumpy.
I downloaded a movie from the internet and when I try to Import that to Adobe Premiere 6.5 it says "Unable to open that file. Files uses an unsupported compression format. The type of file the movie is, is DivX.avi. Does anybody know what I have to do or what Codec I can get?
I am putting transitions in, but every time I play the video the transitions don't show up and a X is in the top left hand corner of the screen. Can anybody please help me?
