Hi, all!
I try to drill down in a Crystal report (CR XI) from an ASP page using the ActiveX viewer. When I drill down and the page is not completly downloaded yet (for example there some images with "loading.....") the activex viewer crash and IE crash too.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Andrea
All,
I've just migrated SPS 2001 (service pack 2) from one server to
another (same OS and SPS versions). I used msdmback for the move and
all looked fine.
I've just found out however that the security settings I did set in the
SPS administration mmc before the actual content move ...
Hello, sometimes I am getting the following error while opening my report (from an asp page ,CR7 , data on SQL server 7.0 and I show the result with the ActiveX viewer):
"CPEAUT Error Occured on Server. 20614 : Starting background processing"
After this error happen I close the report and IE...
Your answer is also correct,I'm sorry but there is another problem.
The "having clause" that I want to pass is dynamic so it depend from the choices that the user do before the report's launch. I can't create a DB view because I need to change the condition dinamically.
I need to use a RDC's...
Ok , thank you for your answer. It's correct but in my case it's quite difficult to apply this solution because in this way the system is too slow.I have a big amount of data anda the DB is faster than CR objects to make a selection.
Do you known that pass an having clause is impossible?
In "http://www.kenhamady.com/news0402.html" document , Ken said that in Crystal Report 10 developer edition there is a licence for RDC on 1 processor, but didn't say if there are limits about concurrent user (since version 9 was 5 cuncurrent user)
Someone known something about this?
OK thank you very match for the information, but my question is about "call licence" for concurrent users on web.Since version 9 this kind of licence was unified with Crystal Enterprise one (and it was very expensive...).
Do you know something about this?
I publish my reports on web using RDC , is there someone that known if the RDC licence policy is changed in Crystal Report 10?
Are there documents about this?
Thanks in advance.
I use SP 2001 SP2 and often when I try to access to some folders in the "document library" web part I find error like this :
"Script Execution Error: Reason: The following tags were not closed: a:multistatus, a:response, a:propstat, a:prop, f:Title."
I publish my reports (CR 7.0) on web.
In some computers ( with Norton Sec. System 2002 installed) the activex viewer didn't start, and I don't find features in Norton thet prevents this.
I apologise too, but "I'm doing all of the above" means that I checked all the things that dgzillz wrote and any of these things aren't true.
Do you have any others suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry but probably I don't understand what you wrote.
I should try to explain the problem better:
When I set-up "Change Subreport Links" I fix the value in this way:
1) Windows "Field(s) to link to:" I choose the "report Field" of the main report that I would pass...
O.K. Naith in my report I have linked the main report with the subreport using the "Change Subreport Links" function and Crystal have automatically created the parameters :
{?Pm-Dati_Vendite.Desc_serie}
{?Pm-Dati_Vendite.Desc_linea}
and the selection formula ...
I'm doing all of the above but the problem is still alive.
Do you have any others suggestions? Is that option supported by CR 7? (With the 8.5 the report works well, but I can't use this release)
I realized some reports (CR 7.0) that contain subreports.
The Subreport doesn't "Perform grouping on server" so the performance decrease dramatically (the "group by" clause disappear in "sql query").
I'm sure that the problem is in "subreport links"...
Hi LV,
your last post was the right one : now the report works correctly.
The thing that I had not understood was that I must use the ?pm...("Subreport parameter field to use" dropdown) parameters in subreports.(Last week I tried to set this parameters but if you are in...
I'm sorry in the last post I have not explained the problem well(the language is an addition problem for me).
I have made all the operations you have described above, but when I dropdows "Select data in subreport based on filed:" I never found the "parameters field" that are...
