Nope! No add on programs. I use Companionlink to copy ACT! informatio to my Dell handheld, but I know they aren't responsible for this. I have spoken to them. I don't have the $300 extended technical support and of course there is no Sage support member forum to help. Any ideas?
After installing ACT! I used the wizard to configure ACT! so that I was using Word 2003 as my email editor and so that a copy of the email would appear under the history tab of ACT!
I no longer see ACT! emails under the history tab in ACT!

Every client with which I enter a birthday date in the birthday field "00/00/0000" the follow day ACT! has created "meetings" with no specific time for each birthday anniversary from birth to the present date....for ALL clients with a date in the birthday field.

I am using a Compaq laptop with Vista basic and have Office 2007 installed along with ACT! 2007 Version 9 with Hotfix 1.
I am trying to do the email set-up and when I get to the window that says "Select one or more email systems" I only have one choice: Internet Mail. Outlook is NOT listed...

From reading other posts I realized I didn't have the ACT! 9 hotfix which I downloaded and installed. Also, yes, I unchecked the use of Word as my email editor and that solved my problem!

I am using ACT! 2007 (9.0) version 9.0.1.162 along with Office 2003.
First, I set up and configure my e-mail system in ACT! to use Outlook as my e-mail system and also Outlook e-mail program rather than the ACT! e-mail program.
Second, I click the email icon in my own record to start an email...
