It appears that a firmware upgrade for us on both the drives and the IBM 3584 library has helped us out as well.
Thanks for that tip Larry.. Will check those tapes now and see if we have the bad block problem..

Hey Everyone
We are running our ADSM on a mainframe and it has it's own tape management system under the ADSM system. We have recently found that it appears the ADSM scratch tapes are never given back to the tape management system to put into the bigger scratch pool.
Looking for any help in...
We are not running Smart Media today. We were going to be moving to that in early next year but with AlphaStor replacing it we have held off on the Smart Media and are looking to move to AlphaStor.
Hey Everyone
We are currently configured with and Sun Networker Server (6.02) connected via SCSI Fiber through a fiber channel switch to and IBM 3485 Library with 6 LTO Ultrium tape drives.

Cheep dirty way that will show up as a failure in you report is to stop the clients services for networker..
We have done that once in awhile and it skips the client because you cannot communicate with it..

Hey Everyone
We are struggling through setting up our Networker 6.0.2 server on a Sun OS 8 E10K system. We are having problems with how the IBM Library presents it's control path (Robotic Arm) on the different lun 1's. It appears that after each configuration reboot of the server the target...
