I am sending this link in an email to my customers which automatically logs them into my ftp server and downloads the filename.zip If I need to put the binary mode here on the client side, what should I add to this ftp link to force binary ? I answered it myself, here's the solution: set cNote [$propinfo.text get 0.0 end] -

$propinfo.text insert end $cNote annotate I placed the text from cNote into my text widget. I let you edit the text. Now how do I reset cNote with the edited text in propinfo.text ?
