Ah that's fantastic! I saw the regexp argument show up in a search hit, but I thought it was just a placeholder (<regular_expression>). Why couldn't they name it something staightforward like AS? That'll teach me to read IOS help lines more thoroughly.

Does anyone have a way around the address column width shortfall in the Cisco IOS 'show ip bgp' output, when using AS path search criteria?
The address/mask column is only 16 characters, while a full ipv4 addr/mask is 18 characters. The resulting line break for prefixes greater than 16...

I have a BCN running 15.5.1.1. Its dual 100 ethernet card has both interfaces connected & racking up underflow & overflow errors. The card has 32Mb mem with 77% free on a fre2-60. The fre & intf. modules have been replaced a few times by Nortel, (that's their only idea) but these errors...
Does anyone know if there is a reason behind the order (or lack of) for subnets in an IOS routing table? And.. is there any way to display them in an ascending pattern? None of the output modifiers seem to apply.
