Hi all,
Quick question... how do I access safe mode on the Proliant 310? The server crashed and is now sticking on the Windows Server 2003 splash/loading screen. Progress bar is doing its thing, but it never seems to get past this.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Rob

Hi Colin,
As a first step I am leaving the router as DHCP server to check I have connection settings right. I have followed instructions, but seem to be having DNS issues as I can load up a website using ip address (e.g. google: 72.14.207.99), but cannot by typing in the name.
Anything I...

I have done 'show ip int brief' and I am getting a correct ip on the Dialer0 interface.
I also put the commands in as you suggested, castlemadeofsand, but it did not seem to make a difference.
With the "sh int" command what am I looking for? As you can tell, novice would be an understatement...
Hi all,
This isthe first Cisco router I have tried to install. I cannot get internet access setup, can any of you see any glaring errors? I think it must be to do with the NAT setup. When I run the test on the adsl connection it comes up as fine. Help very much appreciated!
