    Thanks for all the help and tips, but nothing has explained this problem. I will use the panasonic in another location and leave the Toshiba in place. Don't have the time to work on this any more. If anyone ever has the same problem (unlikely as it may be) please post it. Thanks again

    I tried the polarity and it did not work. Outgoing calls work fine. I notice if it is going to work at all, it will be after the incoming line is disconnected for a few minutes and then connected up again. It will work one time and then back to the seize and droping. I will check ring...

    I have a TD 1232 Pansonic. When calls ring in, there is a 1/2 ring and the switch picks up, then drops the call. It does this on all lines. Phone lines checked ok by phone company. Moved the switch to a different building and all lines work normally. Phone company still says lines are good...
