thanks, I think ill just delete the computers i cant connect using terminal services. there are a few that i get an error saying the computer cant be found. i do know that they dont exist because i replaced them with new computers with dif names.

I have renamed two computers in the domain and can still see their old names in the manager on the server as well as the new ones. Is there a way to sync up or refresh the domain? Or is there something else im missing.

i make it a general rule not to back up anything at once. but I only have 8 servers here. I spread out the times so that none overlap and i never have problems or cloggage of the network because of the times i choose.
right now im just using B2D to a RAID1 setup. the tape drive is not being used but i guess ill get around to using it again. I retired it about 2 months ago.
Done! For future reference, I am using Exchange 6.5 and this is how I got to the mailboxes in the manager
Click on the Servers folder
Click on your Server name
Click on "First Storage Group"
Click on "Mailbox Store"
Then Right Click on "Mailboxes"
