Thanks for you inputs on this Marcus.
But please do not underestimate people you do not know. I may never make it to adobe since i am not looking for a job.
Secondly, I am not talking about the list of adobe programmers on “About Photoshop“ screen. I am talking about the Photoshop welcome screen...
How do you know it is the credit list of people from Adobe?
It does not say so.
And let me put it this way: what can I do in photoshop to earn my name on that list?
Thanks

On the photoshop welcome screen (cs2) there are many names of persons. Sometimes some names change. How is this done? Can we add or delete some names there?
Thanks

You can convert PDFs from RGB to CMYK thru Distiller. Try this:
Open PDF and go to File >Save As (Select Format as EPS) and then click on Settings; Click on Output (and select Colour as Composite and then select Printer Profile as Printer/Postscript Color Management).
Click OK (Enter) and OK...
When I make a pdf from InDesign with a Truetype font, the font is conveted to Type 1 font? Why?
The same file from a different computer does not convert font to Type 1.
Any explanations please?
Thanks

Clean up the Illustrator file. Select the logo and lock it. And then select everything else in the file (Command A) and hit delete. Unlock your logo and resave file.

I have noticed that you have often mentioned to avoid outlining of text in Indd. I have been outlining texts without any problems. All pdf's work fine and print fine.
Let me know what problems have you seen with outlining text.

If you place the same PDF three times you’ll unnecessarily increasing the file size. You can open pdf in photoshop as eugenetyson suggests or open the pdf in acrobat, select the Item tool and Control Click on the image to edit image in Photoshop and save as jpg or tif.

Go to Edit > Transparency Blending > Document
and click CMYK. (I think you have RGB selected), If that is not the case, please send me the problem page at virendrab@shaw.ca
Good luck!
