    aix 4.3.3 stty echo problem.

I'm looking to disable what appears to be a double echo on a serial port. I'm pretty sure I used to know how to do this, but I guess my brain is slipping ... Any thoughts, pointers would be appreciated! Here is my setup... I have a M80 with a RAN attached. I'm attempting to set up a new...

Thanks ... I may have been wasting my time chasing that undef value!

    Tapes not expiring

state volume written (%) expires read mounts capacity 10000E 223 GB full undef 115GB 121 160 GB This is the output of "mminfo -q "pool=Nix Pool" -m" I'm trying to figure out the "undef" reference. I get groups of tapes that cycle through as undef.

    Tapes not expiring

605 --- Does this mean, then, that when a volume is "undef" that NW will grab it and mark it recyclable as soon as it needs it (when there are no append, or recyclable currently volumes available)?

    AIX 4.3.3.0 SAN/Storage Questions

Thanks all for the input. I guess I should have pointed out that I'm also stuck with AIX 4.3.3.0. The DS4300 was my first choice, but I can't find in any of the data sheets that AIX 4.3.3.0 remains as a supported option. The use of the word "supported" there is, obviously, questionable! I'm...

    Odd jfs question

I need to migrate from and old storage enclosure to a newer "old" storage enclosure (legacy modernization). The system I need to change storage on is running 4.3.3.0. Is it possible for me to configure the new file systems on the new enclosure with it connected up to an 5.3.0.0-03 system and...

Who has exp. with the new Storagenode build in in EMC DL7x0

I was part of the beta on the CDL 2.2 with a dl710 (build 1315) and now have it in production (build 1320). During the beta I tested the direct to VTL backups using the storage node. I had two VTL's configured, one assigned to my NetWorker server and one assigned to the Storage Node. We took...

Who has exp. with the new Storagenode build in in EMC DL7x0

I've got a DL710 with the storage node feature. It's capable of more than just cloning. What would you like to know, I'll answer if I'm smart enough!
