1st delete all that stuff and leave norton on.
To me it sounds like a bad NIC card. Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
As far as activating windows over and over? The easy way is to fromat and start over. it sounds like you dont have any thing big loaded anyway.

did you just buy and install this printer? Or did the the printer work fine and the problem just started one day?
Did you load any software that uses the printer or printer port?
Try downloading new drivers. also see if their is a Windows update...
I got a strange one for ya.
I am working on a PC that Has Win-Xp & sp2. when i was 1st told about the problems. i told them to download a free Virus progy to see if that would help until i had time to fix it. they told me that they had over 200 virus detected.
