Dialup connection
I had a similar problem that's been driving me nuts. I was able to connect to internet but couldn't transmit data. After hours and hours of head scratching and research I finally found a registry key that was a remnant of the Zone Alarm Firewall which I had removed BEFORE MY DIALUP QUIT...- pj9585
