Hi Jay: Thanks very for your help. I solved the error "Control is not properly installed" by just adding the user to "Power Users Group" and it seems to work fine. Once again, thanks very much for your help.- indekagroup

Thanks again. Now Accpac opens but when I try to open anything eg. GL, AP etc., I get the error "Control is not properly installed". Any help?- indekagroup

I'm trying to install Accpac 5.2a on a Win XP SP2 client PC.
