When a user has any noise around then they can hardly hear the person at the other end of the call when on a SIP call. Audio level seems ok to party on PSTN. Even with little background noise users are still complaining that they can hardly hear the person they are calling. All users are on 9335...
I've just seen the endpoint licences on the pricelist! Looks like its the only license they do not offer on a trial license - great! I'll have a word with Avaya on Monday and see what the score is.
Does anyone know what is needed to connect analogue devices to an IPO remotely using H.323 I suspect?? I need the analogue devices to be able to look like extensions to the system with voicemail etc.
I had a similar problem and found the resolution to be:
uninstall vmpro 3.2 and then restart the server
reinstall the software in a different location and then copy all the accounts and greetings wav's across to the new directory. This worked on two sites where we had a similar issue - sometimes...
Yeah, couldnt agree with you more, it just concerns me that us accredited installers are going to lose out on sales when customers start buying the kit from the likes of PC World and such emporiums! Oh well, I guess they'll all come back when they can't the kit working with their firewalls etc.....!
jml2665 I'm not sure what licenses you are referring to? The IPO doesnt need licenses for VoIP devices (hard phones) as far as I know. And thanks Nuggifirst! I'm hoping you're wrong (with all respect!)..........
