I was able to re-set operator's password, access the mailbox and record the "name" as "The Operator". Now to get another nice sounding voice to record it instead of mine.
Thanks,
Where is the Operator's mailbox's name recorded, and can it be recorded over? SX-200 ICP. Someone recorded their name over "The Operator" and I can't find it. Ready to change flash at this point. I completely re-programmed voice mail from scratch, but old audio files are still there. Can I...
Erased the phone and re-programmed as a 5312 bare bones. Now it has no MAC address nor does it show having an IP address, but it rings and is idle now!?
I wonder, if I erase the extension and re-program it, will it be assigned a new DHCP address that I could then change remotely to static and permanent?
Went in through the phone, edited mailbox 0, gave it a new password, changed the extension back to 0, (had it going to ext 550 sub att because it has a generic greeting for the hotel. Problem mailbox is now deleted, bit when getting transferred to voice mail from a phone, I still get the name...
By done I mean checked. That's the way it was/is set. Form 19 nothing unusual, just set for LDN keys. I'll try again to listen to the "0" name. Seems like that wasn't an option, nor is deleting it and re-programming it.
Yes, there is a call staus in maintenance. By extension, trunk, software id, and show status all. Call shows ringing extension, then goes to idle after it forwards, doesn't show where it forwards to, however, but it forwards to operator mailbox, even though it says the GM's name.
GM mailbox name has highjacked the operators default mailbox name, so upon cfna or dial "0", you get the GM name instead of "you are being transferred to the operator". Checked all fwding and re-routing.
SX200 ICP general manager's recorded name for his mailbox has "highjacked" the default "The operator" when transferred to same. So when I reach the AA and dial "0", I get "you are being transferred to: "Adam Johnson". CFNA system wide is met with same.
