    Restore problem Windows 2008

    You can try with W2K8 SP2. It seems to work better. But a certain number of files are still not restored (iis config, ...). To be continued !! I assume there is a problem between Networker and VSS. You can try with mapping path (ex: \\servername\c$) ant it works.

    Hi, Sorry for my late response. Microsoft has published an article about my problem (Article ID : 842411). The solution is to disable TEST UNIT READY request for tape devices. Now it works. Thanks a lot for your help.

    There are 2 servers but they are both on a SAN using the same drives and the same tapes (FC 9840A). Of course, when a server is on, the other if off (no DDS or something else...).
