    Choose Multiple Values for a single parameter

    I would have a parameter for startdate, enddate and manufacturerID, but for manufacturerID there could be mutliple Id's/Names chosen, i.e. Campbells, Arbys, Black Angus, etc. In SQL I would use the In statement to pass those values. Hope this is a little clearer

    I am still pretty new to using Oracle Reports and Forms. I need to allow the user the ability to choose multiple values for a single parameter, i.e. manufacturer along with a date range, etc. so far I have found no guidelines on how to do that. Is it possible? Are there some workarounds...

    Thank you for all your help. I have shared your ideas with a couple of my coworkers. As it was mine turned out that I was working offline and once we posted to the server the reports ran. Again - a big thanks and I'll be back here often I am sure.

I have researched the error message and it is telling me a field does not have the correct type. I have checked everything that I am using and all types match...
