I have a table with relational fields and one table inparticular has a section that I am currently having trouble with..
The fields are as follows:
Table: UpdateCheck
Fields: 'NameOfUserUpdating' 'DateUpdated' 'LastUpdated'
NameOfUserUpdating will log the system name of the user editing...
You think the switch function then yeah?! Then that is what I will try....

I've used the docmd.sendobject as pratting around with macros, I would rather do the coding myself as I like to learn, could you explain how I would do this or provide an example?
it will work the way you want right from the start and on the underlying queries, have the following criteria (as I presume you want the subs to show up based on the value of the main form?!) that checks against the form first. calculates the forms contents and if it matches specific stuff...
where you have the text acadd, this needs to change to acaddnewrec!! (if it doesn't work, email me!!)

I am running Access 2000 on my home computer and when I try to save a query, A window pops up stating that Access has caused some form of violation and will be closed immediately (more than a little annoying!) so when I get to save point, it conks out and I have to reinput all the work over...

I have a database that is linked to AFD Postcode plus, so when I enter a postcode into a textbox, the rest of the address comes up for a particular area.

Thanks for that, although I understand what you mean with regards to the query, I don't know the terms inner and outer queries.
