Hello all!
First off, I love you guys and gals for all the help I've gotten the past couple years. I don't think that's said enough.
Here's the idea:
Setting up AS to only enable a video to play at certain times of day, making the video more exclusive (that's my real goal).
I was going to go...
Pixel works just fine.
The trick is that the company wants to have it set so that it tracks the number of ppl that land on the page with php which I am guessing is a rather expensive way to get an extra 2%.
At any rate, I appreciate the info and the time. ^.^
hehe.. ya know I looked back over the post and realize it sounds kinda stupid...
I just don't see all the angles. v.v
Issues:
1. I plug the code into existing php -> it spits out trash
2. As a stand-alone inside the html portion -> Trash
3. its a conversion page so I cannot "really" test it...
I recently setup an account with neverblue tracking (www.neverblue.com for a client. They started with a pixil which was easy enough but now they need me to setup a class so I can use their PostBack tracking. The image I get is that it is pretty straight forawrd, but I am not sure if they...
One other unforeseen bug is that with the clips so close, the top clips overlap the bottom. so controls like the mouse-scroll bleed over. I wish i actually new AS.. lol
Ok.. now thats easy to do.
I can add preload's to the externals.. however would you suggest that i use the original preload code or use the new "play" line?
I would have thought that line would just keep the movie playing.. how simple of an issue, lol.
Thanks again!
So all i am doing is trying to load an external swf. My AS is phuzzy but i didn't think it would suck this bad, especially since i have checked tutorials and copied code directly from sample. So blow by blow.. here we go...
1. Put come code into frame/layer 1 for preload
2. Popped a couple more...
oh i feel like an idiot.. i thought i was still in flash forum... well if anyone wants to take a stab tho it's kinda off-topic.. please do.
Thanks to all those who looked and said "wtf?".
So this may be more of a flash layout thing, but i figure you'd be the first to know.
Building xml menus inside an area with vertical scrolling.
When building the area for scrolling, it has it's own overflow area of course. so will the xml menu just take whatever space is needed (or enlarge...
Well maybe the term embed is totally misleading. my issue is that i swear i have seen 2-3 sites where it had an intro, and then the page was html-like in that even the right click acted like it was over an html page.. not a flash piece. so idk.. maybe it was a very clever disguise or pop-up/over...
hmm.. that doesn't seem right.. but i won't argue.. so what would be the better way to do this.. build external flash menues and load them.. i just don't wanna mess with the core flash everytime i have to change the contents of a menu.
Thanks for the info.
Ok.. so i am good at html and good at flash, and new at putting the two together.
So i wanna put together gallery menus that will be updated an awful lot. I figure embedding a simple html page into a flash shell would work nicely.. but with preload, added animation on start up, vertical...
Ok so i am as far from Paris Hilton as one can get, but i noticed the dynamic gallery on YouTube's home page and think it's pretty nifty.
Hell with loading images externally, i just wish i was crafty enough to copy the look. :(
I'll bet somone put a good amount of time into it XD
There may not be an option to make Sata a primary, but it should be able to be set as the first boot device. that would 'kinda' make it primary.
My board only allows for a sata2 or ide when it comes to hd's and i am not a fan or raid on my own machines so i am in the dark with that one.
Good...
Well to spare my buddy learning Html i suppose i can learn PHP, lol.
Does that sound like the best option? >.<
About the stars, i haven't posted anything in a while and i was being stupid back in the day. I went back and shot some thanks out. ^.^
Thanx
First off I would make absolutely positive that your MB has been set to support both IDE and SATA drives running side by side. Not too long ago they didn't work together at all very well. a good clue is if the POST shows all the devices.
Nevertheless setting your cdrom to 'Cable Select' will...
Howdy all. I haven't found a tutorial here (or anywhere) that actually says how to do this and i don't know whether it is so easy that i shouldn't have to look or if people leave these functions to sql code.
I would like to simply use an excel SS (or some other simple data entry point) to feed...
