Turns out the answer is this: Reports with parameters that do not have a default value specified when designed in CR, when opened in Seagate Analysis prompt the user to supply this missing parameter. Even thought the data is already contained within the rpt file.

Yes not Crystal Analysis, but the old Seagate Analysis (BTW which is still avail from CD but no longer supported) I have reports, which I distribute to clients (an .rpt via e-mail) and for some reason one set of reports opens fine while the other set the user is prompted for the parameters...

Can u stop a scheduled report once is starts processing? And secondly, can u stop an on-demand report if u accideantally opened it and realized it was a report that takes 30 to run. Alexander

Does anyone know of any work around for using/ converting Info Views, which have row security, in CE or implementing a similar feature? Preferably I need this to view successful scheduled instances of reports and not and on-demand reports as they are large reports and take too long for users...
